First National Real Estate 4th Friday Pairs – 27 Oct 2023
16 very enthusiastic bowlers played today. The weather could not decide what to do, but our small team knew they wanted to play, and luck was on their side – not a drop of rain during the games.
Today’s format was 3 game, 8 ends, of 4 bowl pairs, 2x4x2, sponsored by our good friend, Michael Buckley from The Forest First National Real Estate.
We welcomed Rod Henriks and Tristan Lau, who joined us from Killara, as well as our usual group of regulars.
Coming in 3rd place was Susie and Mike Evans with 2 wins and ends won of 12. Each took home a bottle of wine.
2nd place were Lindsay Morris and John Tomlinson, with 2 wins and ends won of 15. They shared $30 prize money.
Our winners today were our visitors from Killara – Tristan Lau and Rod Henriks with 3 wins. They shared $60 prize money.
The jackpot today was $180, and John Tomlinson was the lucky player drawn, but didn’t draw out his first game rink number of 10. The jackpot will carry forward and must be won next week.
