Belrose Chemist Triples – 19 April 2024

24 bowlers played under a cloudy sky, a perfect temperature and no a drop of rain.

Given the numbers, we were able to include a Winners play Winners and Losers play Losers among the playing conditions.

The best performance came from Geoff Godfrey, Kevin Toovey and Ken Alderton, who walked away with the first prize of $60 with Darrall Cutting, David I Smith and Peter Nixon scooping up the second prize of $30 on offer. The team of Gillian and John Gray and Pat McMaster won the consolation bottles of wine coming in third. The first two teams had two wins each with the prizes decided on ends won.

Gillian and John Gray will be away for some time from Friday Bowls as they are heading to England for seven weeks.

The jackpot of $60 did not go off.
