State Women’s Senior Fours Champions 2024

Congratulations to our Senior Fours Bullettes who won the State Championship final this afternoon in Dubbo.

They defeated Warilla in the semi-final and then went on to defeat Cabarita Beach in the final.

It was a nail-biting final that went down to the wire with both teams equal at the end of the game which meant an extra end was required. The final result came down to the last bowl, and the Cabarita skip, despite playing some brilliant shots, was unable to win the end.

Due to Bowls NSW changing the dates for the State Championships, Julie Baker, who played third throughout the Sectional rounds, was unavailable for the finals. Kaye Alderton fitted in perfectly as a second for the finals. What a great effort by all the girls!
