First National Real Estate 2nd Friday Pairs – 8 Mar 2024
On a warm early autumn afternoon we had 14 teams battle it out over two greens in the First National Real Estate 3 bowl pairs.
Competition was tight with three teams finishing the day with two wins & a loss and 14 ends won. Coming in 4th & 5th respectively were Carl Walker & Alex Grieg and Kevin Toovey & Ken Alderton. Both teams received a warm round of applause.
So in third place was the team of Sue & Mike Evans with 2 wins & a loss, 14 ends won and a margin of +3. They both received a bottle win.
Second place went to Ken Pride & John Thomlinson who had 3 wins and 16 ends won. They received $30.
Congratulations to the day’s overall winners, Lyn & Max Gray who had 3 wins and 19 ends won. They received $60.
The lucky jackpot didn’t go off, so $60 has been added to the pot. Next Friday, the $240 jackpot will be won by 1 luck rink.
