2023-24 President’s Trophy Joint Presentation
At the Club’s Annual General Meeting held on Sunday 6th August, the 2023-24 President’s Trophy was awarded by President Andy to Bob Cunneen and John Fitzgerald jointly. Bob and Fitzy are the 13th recipients of this prestigious trophy.
This award recognises outstanding volunteer work for the Club over a long period, and Bob and Fitzy have been dedicated Selectors for many years now. They are always in the Bowls Office no bowling days and select both Social and Pennant teams. Their dedication is outstanding and they rarely miss a day. It is worth noting that Selection is recognised as one of the most difficult jobs at the club.
