First National Real Estate Three Bowl Pairs – 12 August 2022
We actually played! True Story!
The weather was threatening and by all account the Bureau of Meteorology kept showing a fair bit of rain on its way. However, with much umming and ahhing 24 bowling tragics braved the cold and threatening conditions playing two games of 8 ends and one game of 12 ends.
It is always great to see people from other clubs join us. We love seeing you.
A big thank you to Rowdy for preparing the greens.
Also, to Michael Buckley from First National for his continued support. Please consider Michael if you are wanting to sell or buy. Michael has extensive knowledge of the market.
Not forgetting the volunteers on the day. Andy Little, Rody, Ian Tinks, Mike Evans, Julie and to the Club Ltd. Staff.
There were 4 teams that won 2 out of 3 games. All tightly contested.
3rd Place was a tie between three teams Rufus Balfas/Peter Arnold, David JP Smith/Greg Walls and Charles Chapman and John Prowle – all both with 2 wins and 15 ends won.
As per usual – Their prize was an enthusiastic round of applause.
2nd Place was won by Lindsay Morris and Colin Horne with 2 wins, 20 ends. They received a bottle of wine each.
1st Place was won by Lyn and Max Gray being the only players winning all three games.
Jackpot winners were Geoff Godfrey and Ken Pride who will share the prize with Alex Greig and Trent Keys.
The lucky player was Geoff Godfrey who won a bottle of wine. You were lucky Geoff!
Thanks also to all the stoic people who braved the conditions today.
