First National Real Estate 4th Friday Pairs – 28 October 2022

After all the rain it was a good day for bowls today although it was very windy at times. 

Michael Buckley the Director of First National Real Estate – the forest was as usual available to present the prizes. We appreciate the ongoing sponsorship. 

Todays format was round robin of 4 bowls pairs playing 2x4x2 over 3 games of 8 ends each. 

Two teams had 3 wins with ends won deciding the overall result. Both teams went home with some cash. 

* Winners: Lyn & Max – 3 wins & 15 ends won. 

* R/U – Frank & Janice – 3wins & 14 ends won. 

Four teams had 2 wins with ends won also deciding 3rd place. Our Avalon visitors of Marilyn & John with 2 wins & 14 ends won took home the wine. 

The cash jackpot had reached the maximum of $240 & had to be won. Kevin was the lucky player drawn out & shared the cash with fellow game 1 rink players of Neil, Trevor & Cathy. 

Thanks to everyone who played today – we appreciate your support.
