First National Real Estate 4th Friday Pairs – 27 January 2023
After a very busy bowls week we still managed to attract 26 players to Friday Bowls. We had 10 teams playing 2x4x2 pairs and due to a shortage of rinks 2 teams played a game of triples. All teams 3 games of 8 ends. The weather extremely humid and the greens were in great condition as normal.
Michael Buckley from First National Real Estate was able to join us today (as usual) and we extended him a big warm welcome. Michael gave us a market update on Real Estate in the Forest. We very much appreciate FNRE the forest sponsorship for today’s and the 2nd Friday of the month bowls.
Today’s jackpot was worth $120 and the lucky player was Alex Greig. Alex was unable to draw out 12 and received a bottle of the Clubs vintage wine as a consolation prize.
Only one team had 3 wins today.
Third Place winners with 2 wins and 14 end won was Sue and Mike Evans who each received a bottle of wine.
Second place winners with 2 wins and a draw was Lorraine Hazzard and Kay King and they shared $30.
First place burglars with 3 wins was Kevin Toovey and Ken Alderton and they shared $60. This pair will be heavily handicapped next start.
