Belrose Chemist Triples 19 August 2022
Today, we welcomed 24 players playing on 4 rinks, 2 games of 3 bowl triples, with 11 ends played each game. The greens were playing beautifully until the rain stopped play. As a result we only fully completed one game.
Geoff welcomed Bob Barnes to his first games of bowls.

Today’s jackpot was worth $60 and the lucky player was Gill Gorrick who received a bottle of wine, and was able to draw out her rink 20 and received $60 to be shared with all players on rink 20 in the first game. Vanessa Kenny, D.JP. Smith, Mike Evans, Richard Lewis, Gill Gorrick and Mark Johnson. .
The winners prizes were based on one game only.
Third place winners with 7 ends and a margin of 10 were Vanessa Kenny,D.J.P Smith, and Mike Evans each received a bottle of fine vintage wine each.
Second place winners with 8 ends and a margin of 10 was won by Colin Horne, Ian Tink and Lindsay Morris who received $30 to be shared amongst themselves.
First place winners with 8 ends and a margin of 13 was won Ken Pride, Bob Barnes and Geoff Godfrey who received $60 to be shared amongst themselves.
Today’s helpers, Geoff and Ian (Tinkey) Tink, are thanked for all their efforts.
Next Friday is 2x4x2 bowls pairs of 3 games of 8 ends sponsored First National the Forest.
