Barrenjoey Smash Repairs Pairs – 5th August 2022
Very pleasant conditions greeted our 44 bowlers on Friday. Rowdy has done a superb job on our greens, and we had rinks on all three greens.
We had 5 teams with 2 wins. Mat Brown and Greg Walls came in third place, with 2 wins, 15 ends won and a margin of 18. In 2nd place, Andy Little and Dafna Orbach had 2 wins, also 15 ends won, but with an impressive margin of 27. Our winner for the day were Bob Leonard and Ken Alderton, with 2 wins, 16 ends won. Andy and Dafna won a bottle of wine each, and Bob and Ken took home the $70.
John Prowle was the lucky player drawn, but, unfortunately didn’t draw out his lucky number 4 rink. The jackpot will roll over for next week.
