First National Real Estate 4th Friday Pairs – 26 May 2023
Twenty two brave bowlers ignored the bleak conditions today and competed amongst ourselves and against the wind, not sure who won! We had 8 teams competing in 2 x 4 x 2 pairs format and two triples teams. We all played played 3 games of 8 ends.
We very much appreciate Michael Buckley of First National The Forest for his continued support of Belrose bowls and urge all members and friends to support them with all their real estate needs.
A big welcome was extended to two new Belrose players to Fri Bowls – Jennifer Goh and Chris Campbell.
Today’s jackpot was worth $180 and the lucky player was Lorraine Hazzard who was unable to draw her rink out and received a fine bottle of vintage wine as a consolation prize. The jackpot must go off next week so hurry in and register for next weeks Fri Bowls.
Third prize with 2 wins a draw and 15 ends won went to John Tomlinson and Mike Evans who each received a bottle of wine.
Second place winners with 2 wins, a draw and 16 ends won was by Dafna Orbach and Phil Slade who Shared $30.
First place winners with 3 wins was a triples team of Gill Gorrick, John Grey and Darrall Cutting and they shared $60.
