First National Real Estate 4th Friday Pairs – 23 June 2023
Thirty Two bowlers played today in excellent conditions. We had 16 teams competing in 2 x 4 x 2 pairs format. We all played played 3 games of 8 ends.
We very much appreciate Michael Buckley of First National The Forest for their continued support of Belrose bowls and urge all members and friends to support them with all their real estate needs.
A welcome was extended to visitors Jacqui Morgan and Jenny Morris from Seaforth and Vicki Sawtell and Robin Root from Newport.
We had two jackpots today as this was the last game for the month. Today’s jackpots of $180 and $80 had to go off.
Draw 1 – $180 Jackpot
The lucky player was Lindsay Morris who shared the prize with fellow players Colin Horne, Ken Alderton and Kevin Toovey.
Draw 2 – $80
The lucky player was Lyn Gray who shared the prize with Max Gray, Geoff Godfrey and John Tomlinson.
Third prize with 3 wins a 13 ends won went to Janice and Frank Grubilich who each received a bottle of wine.
Second place winners with 3 wins, a draw and 14 ends was won by our Seaforth visitors Jenny Roberts and Jacqui Morgan who Shared $30.
First place winners with 3 wins and an incredible 19 ends was won by Mike Evans and David J Smith and they shared $60.
Today’s helpers of Geoff, Ian, David and Mike are thanked for all their efforts.
No bowls will be held next Fri 30/06/23 due to State pennant play offs in Warilla (grade 6) and Tamworth (grade 4).
