Belrose Chemist Triples – 21 April 2023
Of the 38 bowlers who played, 30 were allocated to Trips teams while 8 played traditional pairs.
Included among the bowlers were visitors – Judy Kent (St Ives), John Jobson (Chatswood) and Hank and Masako Sato (St Johns Park/Harbord). At the commencement of the day, President Andy provided Darrall Cutting with his name tag and a Belrose bowls towel.
The weather was pleasant despite the threatening clouds.
The winners, all of whom won both games, were decided on successful ends, were
- Frank and Janice Grubisich and Judy Kent (1st Prize)
- Lorraine Hazzard, Maggie Murphy and Julie Baker (2nd Prize)
- Hank and Masako Sato (3rd Prize)
Dafna Orbach won a bottle of wine as her name was drawn to try for the jackpot but no jackpot went off this week. The $180 is rolled over to next week.
The raffle generated revenue of $100.
