Belrose Chemist Triples – 16 Feb 2024

28 bowlers played under windy and hot conditions. The numbers included a visitor from St Ives, Judy Kent, having her first Fridays Bowls excursion since having a knee operation.

The numbers did not allow all bowlers to compete in Triples with the result that four players had a Pairs game. As one of the Pairs teams won overall, it was decided to exclude them from the prizes though President Andy allocated them $15 each on their Club cards.

The best performance among the Trips teams came from Jason Agapiou, Matt Brown and Paul Stracey who walked away with the first prize of $60 with John Gray, Pat McMaster and Richard Lewis  scooping up the second prize of $30 on offer. The team of Carl Walker, David JP Smith and Alex Greig as in January won the consolation bottles of wine coming in third.

The jackpot of $240 went off and the lucky recipients were the teams of Rody Manning, Chris Siemens and Max Turnbull along with Pat and Neil Mills and Ian Tink.
