Barrenjoey Smash Repairs Pairs – 7 July 2023

32 Bowlers braved the blustery conditions for this week’s Pairs Friday Bowls. Ken opened the day, welcoming all, and some new faces from various local clubs.

The day was won by Chris Weber and Richard Wise with 2 wins, and ends won of 16. They shared $60 prize money. Second placegetters were Lindsay Morris and Colin Horne with 2 wins and ends won 14. They shared prizemoney of $30. Our third placegetters this week were John Gray and Richard Lewis. They were one of 4 teams with a draw, but their one win and ends won of 14 won them a bottle of wine each.

Our lucky player drawn was not so lucky – Susie Evans didn’t manage to draw out her rink for game one, pushing the jackpot forward for next week.

Raffle sales were strong this week, with the prizes of Club Points, Woolies voucher and bottles of wine fiercely contested.
