A welcome return to Friday Bowls 2024!
32 bowlers played 2 games of pairs 11 ends, in perfect conditions.
Ken welcomed our visitors – David and Elizabeth from Turramurra, Earl from North Sydney, David and Greg from Newport, and Bob from Warringah.
We had 4 teams with 2 wins each. Richard and Peter came in 4th with 2 wins and ends won 10, Bob and Geoff came in 3rd place, with 2 wins, ends won 12. Each received a bottle of wine. Susie and Earl were our 2nd place getters with 2 wins, ends won 13. They shared $30 prizemoney. Our overall winners today were Barbara and Mike with 2 wins, ends won 16. They shared the $60 prizemoney.
Finlay was the lucky bowler drawn by the barstaff, unfortunately he didn’t choose his 1st game rink. Jackpot continues for next Friday, when the jackpot must be won.
