5th Friday “New Year” Bowls – 29 Dec 2023

38 bowlers joined in on the last Friday of the year playing four short games of seven ends each. It was of interest that every team secured at least one win while no team won all four ends.

Louise Amos, Trevor and Carol Whitehead along with Mick Shaw visiting from the UK made up the visitors.

The prizes went to:

First                     Alex Greig and David JP Smith
Second                Harvey Bowen and Graham Stewart
Third                   Gill Gray, David I Smith and Peter Nixon

The jackpot was not won and the jackpot funds are rolled over to next Friday.
