Zone 9 Singles Sectional Play – 19 Mar 2023

It was a first for the Zone Singles Championship today with the competition run in a Round-Robin format. Previously all Championships have been Knock-Out format, but the COP now permit the Round-Robin format and the Zone 9 Match Committee decided to give it a try.

We played 3 rounds on an extremely hot day, which was a challenge, however we completed the day successfully. There were 8 sections of 3 players, playing 3 games of ’25 Up’ Singles with each player playing 2 games and marking the third, within their Section.

It was very successful for the Bulls with 8 Belrose players through to the Knock-Out finals next weekend.

In the Open division, we have Rohan Dennis, Ethan Scott-Branagan, Steve Rawlings, Steve Lowe, John Campton and James Brown.

In the Senior division we have Steve Ashdown and in the Reserves division we have Mike Evans.
