Twilight Bowls – 8 Mar 2023

We welcomed to their first game of Belrose Twilight Bowls – Nan & Jason (friends of friends), Jennifer & Chris (from the stables of our very own “High Performance Coach” Ron Piper), Nick (son of Boom – a twilight regular) & Mal (long term club member & quality bowler). Other than Mal all were new bowlers. 

This evening the format was 2 games of Fours. The lights were switched on early & with the “boom box” music selected by Mark an excellent bowling atmosphere was created. An experience not to be missed – “TRY IT” – people of all ages & abilities are all welcome. 

Evening Results:

* Lucky Player draw – Nan ($20 on members card)

* 1st Toucher – Julie (2 jugs of beer with 8 glasses!!) shared with all rink players. 

* Runners Up – Lisa, Col, Carpo & Matt. (Bags of chocolates) 

* Winners – Lisa, Dom, Ross & Matt (wine) 

* The “Rink” cash jackpot of $680 was not won (so close!). (Next week maybe!!).

The evening closed on a high note with a classic joke by Crowie with sound effects.
