Senior Singles – 13 September 2023

Congratulations to Bob Leonard who won a tight match against John Cosentino to win this year’s Senior Singles competition. Their were 4 sections in the Sectional play which gave us the 4 finalists who played the knock-out finals in perfect weather.

In the final, Bob and John had a very close game and it was 10 all after 11 out of the 13 ends. With only two ends to play, Bob won 2 shots on the 12th leaving John a challenge to catch him. John did manage win the last end but only got 1 shot.

Congratulations to all the players. Everyone praised the format and hopefully we can get more entries next year.
