First National Real Estate 4th Friday Pairs – 27 September 2024
24 bowlers were in attendance to play the 4th Friday monthly pairs sponsored by First National Real Estate The Forest. The format was 2-4-2 pairs and the 3 games of 8 ends were played in windy conditions with the prospect of rain. Fortunately it did not arrive.
Club Belrose welcomed one visitor to the competition—Dennis Heath (Avalon BC).
Results were as follows:
1st: Barbara Samuel and Mike Evans (3 wins and 17 ends)
2nd: Richard Lewis and Mick Hoban ( 3 wins and 16 ends)
3rd: David JP Smith and Dennis Heath ( 3 winds and 14 ends)
Michael Buckley (Principal of FNRE) presented the prizes to all 3 teams.
Lucky bowler prize went to David JP Smith
The jackpot prize of $120 was not won and will increase to $180 next Friday.
