First National Real Estate 4th Friday Pairs – 23 August 2024

30 bowlers played in perfect bowls conditions. While 24 participated in 12 teams of Pairs in a Round Robin 3-game contest of 3 games each, the remaining 6 played three games of Trips.

The very fast No 1 Green resulted in those players on that green taking an inordinate amount of time to complete their games which required that the last game be cut from 8 ends to 4 ends which complicated the final tallying of results.

The best performance came from the Pairs team of Scott Newman and Paul with two wins and an overall winning margin of 12. They were closely followed by the team of Maggie and Doug Murphy with a margin of 11 while the third prize went to Darrall Cutting and Richard Lewis with a margin of 10.

The jackpot of $240 was won by Pat McMaster, John Gray, Ian Tink and Craig Major.
