Club Handicap Singles 2023-24

This year we trialed a new, faster format (Round Robin sectional play with a Knockout Finals series) to make the competition more attractive to our members. We had 15 entries and therefore grouped them into 5 Sections for the Sectional rounds.

The Sectional games were 9 ends each and the knockout games were 11 ends. This allowed us to complete the competition on two Saturday afternoons and the format appeared to be a great success according to all the players.

The 5 Section winners were Trevor Lessing, Matt Brain, Richard Lewis, John Cosentino and Mike Evans (who won on a count back).

The finals were hotly contested and the overall winner was John Cosentino, who defeated Mike Evans in the final.
