Club Championship Fours 2023-34

Congratulations to our 2023-24 Championship Fours winners: Peter Geftakis, Graham Gates, Mark Bowen and James Brown. They defeated Mick James, Peter Spray, Joe Saragozza and Richard (Guv) Wise 25-17 in a tightly fought final today.

Guv was 10 shots behind Brownie after 15 ends and everyone thought that Brownie would run away with a big win, however Guv had other ideas. He scored two ‘4’s’ on the 16th and 18th end to get within 4 shots of Brownie, with 3 ends still to play, and it was ‘game on’.

Brownie, however, had his own ideas on that, and scored 2 shots on both the 19th and 20th end to close out the game.
