Belrose Chemist Triples – 17 May 2024

30 bowlers played under a cloudy sky, a perfect temperature and not a drop of rain which was a pleasant surprise given the wet conditions of the recent past.

We welcomed Bob Barnes from Warringah and Peter Newland back after a long absence.

Two games of eleven ends each were played. The best performance came from Sue Evans, Ash Carruthers and Mike Evans (first prize $60) with David JP Smith, Carl Walker and Alex Greig scooping up the second prize of $30 on offer. The team of Peter Newland, Ian Tink and Neil Mills won the consolation bottles of wine coming in third.

The jackpot of $180 did not go off.
