24 Bowlers enjoyed a hot and humid Friday, with the threatened storm holding off for their games.
Lorraine and Mike ‘modelled’ our two uniform sample shirts for the games, it was a good opportunity to see them on the greens. We hope to get the opportunity to vote on our favourite design this week, another positive move towards unification.
Our 3rd place winners were Susie and Lorraine, with 1 win, 1 draw and ends won of 14. They narrowly beat Russell and John who had 1 win, 1 draw and ends won of 12.
2nd place winners were Brian and David JP with 2 wins and ends won of 13.
Todays winners were Rody and Max with 2 wins, ends won 15.
Bar staff pulled 16 from the players numbers – Lorraine – who drew her first game rink number of 20! Lorraine and her team mate Susie shared the $180 jackpot with their game 1 team of Darryl and Richard. Lorraine also won a bottle of wine as lucky player. Congratulation, Lorraine, a nice little stocking filler for you all in the lead up to Christmas.
